Our hotel, which serves for 12 months provides services to its guests going on holiday for entertaining and relaxing during the summer season and provides active services for congresses, sports organizations and large meetings during winter season through its 8 meeting halls in various sizes, 4 tennis courts, 1 Mini Football Field ,1 multipurpose sports field.

While providing these services, our hotel takes the best approach and the safest interaction with our guests, employees and the nature through ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management, ISO 14001 Environment Management,  ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management, Gluten Free Kitchen, Sustainable Tourism and Green Star (Environmentally-conscious accommodation facility) certificates.

By identifying the environmental aspects of its operations and processes, the resort aims to minimize its environmental impact and ensure sustainable and innovative development in environmental matters. Mirage Park Resort, which aims to protect the environment and continuously improve its environmental performance to ensure the sustainability of natural resources, commits to the following measures to implement its Environmental Policy—established as part of its sustainability initiatives to balance economic growth with environmental factors

·       Recognizing that the world’s resources are not infinite, we must embrace this not as a mere obligation but as a responsibility to leave a carefully preserved environment for future generations, and take the necessary measures to minimize environmental damage,

·       To comply with all environmental laws and regulations,

·       To prevent air pollution, use environmentally friendly fuels,

·       To minimize the waste generated by our operations and, to this end, use products that can be recycled,

·       To ensure the proper management of recyclable waste through waste sorting,

·       To ensure the proper storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste (batteries, accumulators, oils, etc.) in accordance with regulations,

·       Supporting environmental sustainability through the use of renewable energy,

·       To measure our environmental impact and implement continuous improvements accordingly, 

·       To reduce costs by ensuring the controlled use of raw materials and natural resources,

OUR ENERGY POLICY

Our fundamental mission across all our management systems is to grow in a balanced manner by using energy resources efficiently, implementing measures to reduce energy consumption, and leaving future generations with more resources and a livable environment.

In this context;

·       Mirage Park Resort, which is committed to continuous improvement, has established an Energy Policy as part of its energy efficiency and management initiatives to strike a balance between economic growth and environmental factors;

·       To identify the needs and expectations of both our employees and all other stakeholders,

·       To ensure the continuous improvement of energy performance and the Energy Management System (EnYS) within our organization, we will establish measurable objectives and targets and revise them as necessary,

·       To provide the human, infrastructure, information, and technological resources necessary to achieve our energy goals and objectives, and to reduce our carbon footprint—including reducing energy consumption and increasing the use of renewable energy-in line with our company’s needs,

As the Senior Management of Mirage Park Resort;

OUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

·       We ensure safety by raising our team members’ awareness to identify potential accidents and hazardous situations in advance and prevent unsafe actions, and by taking the necessary precautions.

·       We are developing the necessary infrastructure to protect the health and safety of our employees and guests, and we are making continuous improvements with the input of our employees.

OUR PURCHASING POLICY

As the Senior Management of Mirage Park Resort;

·       We view all our suppliers as partners, and we evaluate them and make our purchases based on the criteria outlined below.

·       The foundations of an Energy Management System have been laid at our company, and in future purchases, we will consider the life-cycle cost of the product, equipment, system, or service rather than the initial purchase cost.

·        We will ensure that the products purchased for our business are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient, and that all purchased products meet quality standards,

·       When selecting HVAC equipment for our facility, we prefer units that use environmentally friendly refrigerants and offer Class A energy efficiency,

·       The supplier shall provide documentation and training support regarding the energy-efficient operation and use of the purchased equipment/system,

·       When procuring services such as maintenance, repair, overhaul, etc., the service provider shall offer recommendations and services aimed at improving energy efficiency,

·       In the event that the supplier or manufacturer of the purchased product/equipment/system/raw material implements an improvement or revision in the future that will enhance energy efficiency, we will be informed of the scope and content of such improvement or revision.

·       When evaluating potential purchases of products, equipment, systems, services, raw materials, or energy, give priority to companies that have implemented the TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System,

·       In our company’s procurement activities, we will prioritize local suppliers; however, if there is a significant difference in price and quality between local suppliers and other suppliers, we will opt for the latter,

·       To introduce local products and traditions to guests,

·       To prioritize, in purchases made for our business, products that are in large-scale, bulk packaging, recyclable, and generate as little waste as possible,

·       To prefer environmentally sustainable products that are sustainably produced and/or sourced from sustainable resources,

·       We undertake to work with companies that fully comply with all legal requirements regarding environmental protection and energy.

 

Our Cultural Heritage and Local Awareness Policy

We respect cultural heritage, historical artifacts, and natural beauties, and by informing our guests and employees, we strive to contribute social and cultural value to our region.

For this purpose;

·       We act in cooperation with the local community and community organizations to preserve these values and participate in their activities.

·       We adopt the principle of promoting cultural, natural, and historical sites so that our guests can experience the values of our country, and we provide them with destination information brochures to help introduce our cultural heritage.

·       As a facility, in order to ensure strong cultural awareness and respect;

·       In our sustainability trainings, we also inform our employees about cultural heritage and local values.. 

·       We contribute to the preservation of our traditions by providing information that ensures compliance with rules during visits to locally significant historical, archaeological, cultural, and spiritual sites (such as using waste bins, not smoking, not speaking loudly, not visiting while intoxicated, adhering to dress codes, etc.

·       There are local plant species such as the myrtle shrub (Myrtus communis) and Turkish pine (Pinus brutia) trees on the premises, and guests are informed through labels displaying their Latin names.. 

·       In addition, information about endemic plant species of the Antalya region, as well as Latin name labels of other tree species on the premises, are provided to guests through Environmental Brochures in guest rooms and public areas.

Protection of Wild or Domestic Animals in the Surrounding Area

·       In order to protect natural life and ecological balance at our facility, necessary arrangements are made to support the conservation of the endangered Caretta caretta species. The Caretta caretta uses our beach for nesting and breeding purposes between mid-May and the end of September. The area where eggs are laid on our beach is protected and cordoned off. Informational signs are placed to indicate the rules that must be observed. No umbrellas or sunbeds are placed near or around the nesting area. Lighting is not used in this part of the beach until the hatchling emergence period is complete.

AIn addition, our sensitivity regarding this matter is communicated to our guests through the Environmental Brochure available in public areas and guest rooms..
